The short version

mlxstudio is a desktop app that runs entirely on your Mac. Your conversations, models, and data stay on your machine. We don't have a server to phone home to.

What we collect on this website

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. It collects:

• Page views (which pages, how long)
• Referrer (where you came from)
• Browser and OS type
• Country (from anonymized IP)

Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. Your IP address is not stored.

Email signup

If you enter your email on the landing page, we store it solely to notify you about mlxstudio updates. We will never share, sell, or spam your email. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email.

The desktop app

mlxstudio runs 100% locally. It does not send telemetry, analytics, or any data to external servers. Your conversations and model files never leave your machine.

Third-party services

All fonts are self-hosted. No third-party services are loaded on this site other than Umami analytics (described above).
